I got the hat in anticipation of the upcoming Spring and Summer months. The hat is big enough to cover my shoulders which is exactly what I was looking for. The brim has a wire running all the way around it which enables you to shape the hat any way you like. The hat also packs well, it can be folded up into any shape you need. The turquoise is also an excellent bright blue that I love. The only thing I would complain about is that the part of the hat that your head goes in it quite tall, when I pull it down all the way it covers the tips of my ears. It is also a little snug and I've never thought of myself as having a large head, but I'm sure it will stretch a little after wearing it. Then again, it might be nice to have a snug fitting hat when on a windy beach.
